O’s Notes: Brazilian guitarist Lupa Santiago and Finish drummer Anders Vestergård follow up a successful 2015 recording with“Inside Turnabout, a with a fresh quartet including Swedish bassist Mattias Hjorth and tenor saxophonist Rodrigo Ursaia from Brazil. There’s a cool swinging groove on “Caixa Cuba” that extends into most of the tracks. We also dug “LŠrkan”, “De Passagem” and the softer “Me perdi“. It is a good mix of global music cultures featuring original compositions from Vestergård (4), Santiago (3), and Ursaia (2).
