O’s Notes: Kirk’s smooth tenor sax flows nicely over these R&B rhythms. “Hold On, I’m Coming” has a tight funky bass line from Alex Al married to Kirk’s melodies that makes it groove. It’s a tried and true formula that still works. Our favorite, “Me, Me and You”, has a solid set of riffs from Alex that Kirk plays to nicely – sure to surface on the radio! The funky and smooth tracks are balanced with cool vocal tracks like “Do You Feel Me” with Phil Perry and “I Loved You In Memphis” featuring guest artists Isaac Hayes and Wendy Moten.
