O’s Notes: Kendall Carter is a gospel-based keyboardist from Louisville, KY. He makes his debut manning the B3 with guitarist Dave Stryker and drummer Kenny Phelps. Dave and Kendall trade leading melodies over eleven selections including classics “Lovely Day”, the peaceful “Lawns”, “Afro Blue” and “Blues For Kendall”. There’s a heavy tilt towards the blues with good dynamics and a solid performance that establishes Carter as one to watch.
