O’s Notes: Guitarist John Basile has a unique style, a combination of simple chords integrated with the melodies. He uses his fingers to pluck and strum resulting in a softer approach. The results are as lyrical as if being sung by a heart felt vocalist. The quartet includes Nick Misch (b), Jason Devlin (d) and Jerry Z (B3), all complementary to John’s warm style. He selects a few of Sinatra’s songs and some jazz standards to go with three new originals.
