O’s Notes: Echo Park Project is one of LA’s premiere Latin jazz and salsa bands. Conguero Carlos Lopez leads the band, with musical director, composer and arranger Joe Mannozi. They serve up a taste of Afro-Cuban music at its best. Frank Fontaine (sax, fl) and Ron Francis Blake (t, flugelhorn) lead the melodies on top of the spicy rhythms.
