O’s Notes: We were drawn in immediately with the opener “Jingles”, a swinging burner that set the stage for the set. There is no question that De Villa has soul. He plays guitar, bass and synths and composed seven of the ten tracks. Enois Scroggins adds vocals on “You Are My Girl” a cut that should find it’s way on the smooth jazz circuit. The bass is prominent with the house beats of “I’ll Make You Jazz” and “Tender Love”. We liked the cool East Coast vibe of “Window Shopper” and “Searchin’ For Love”. This is a solid set that lives up to its title.
