O’s Notes: This is a vocal rhythm and blues album. Douyé may not have the ‘goose bump’ capacity of Alicia Keys but she sticks to her game and delivers the 2009 equivalent of good old soul music. Douyé has a quiet confidence that works especially well on the title track. Douyé collaborated with producer Terry Shaddick to write all of the songs and they are well suited for her voice. The potential is there but this is not one you will listen to over and over.
