O’s Notes: Trumpeter and bandleader John Daversa tackles the music of the Beattles on his latest release Kaleidoscope. The band is a large ensemble that performs in several configurations including vocals and instruments in a live recording. These are very unique jazzy arrangements of classic pop tunes that allow reminiscing as well as enjoyable moments notably on “And I Love Her”, “Here Comes The Sun” and “I Saw Her Standing There” featuring Katisse.
