O’s Notes: The rich warm tone of Joe Chambers’ vibraphone resonates throughout the fabric of his trio featuring Ira Coleman on bass with pianist Rick Germanson. Joe is a multi instrumentalist who handles all drum and percussion duties here as well. There are ten songs, seven classics and three originals all blended together in Landscapes. We truly enjoyed the mellow ballads like title track and his swinging take on “Airegin”.
