O’s Notes: Canadian Sam Broverman has a laid back cool style that he presents in front of a tight trio with Jordan O’Connor (b), Mark Kieswetter (p) and Ernesto Cervini (d). We enjoyed his debut Dream Maker, a tribute to Johnny Mercer. Leftover Dreams is Sam’s celebration of songwriters Sammy Cahn & Jimmy Van Heusen. The songs are classic romance tune from decades past but the messages are still relevant. These are great tunes, good music and fine memories.
