O’s Notes: Hollywood Paul Litteral plays trumpet in the tradition of many jazz trumpeters. He’s had a storied history over four decades playing with a who’s who of artists across many genres. We liked vocalist Lenny Goldsmith’s blues swagger on “Accentuate The Positive”. Litteral takes the lead with his horn on “Lonesome Suzie”, “For Once In My Life”, and a swinging take of “There Will Never Be Another You” featuring vocalist Angela O’Neill. She also stands out on “I Can’t Make You Love Me”. Our favorite is “Do It Again” lifting Legacy as a diverse collection with wide appeal.
