O’s Notes: Vivian puts her soft, soulful voice on eleven love songs. She opens with a message to the married ladies in the house on “Wives and Lovers”. Brenden Lowe (p) does a fine job on “Secret Love” and throughout the session as do bassist Buca Necok and drummer Jeff Minnieweather. We also enjoyed the steering rendition of “Bein’ Green”, “You Turned The Tables On Me” and “The Man I Love”. Vivian is a likable storyteller inviting you to engage in the lyrics in a very pleasurable way.
