O’s Notes: Susan Clynes is a young Belgian vocalist/pianist with daring ambition. She invites chamber rock cellist Simon Lenski to accompany her for most of the songs on her second release as a leader. Life is… an accurate description of the music, eleven original songs that are vibrant, fresh and engaging. Our favorites are “Childhood Dreams” and “Pigeon’s Intrusion”. Clynes shows great potential.
