O’s Notes: Eraldo Bernocchi is an Italian guitarist and electronic sound designer. Past releases have been tilted towards progressive rock but on“Like A Fire That Consumes All Before It“Eraldo takes a softer stance. The music is retro in some sense, inspired by the film “Cy Dear” a documentary film about American painter, sculptor and photographer, Cy Twombly. The music is warm and relaxing and portrays an image like being out in an open field, taking in all elements of life near and far. It is a fine musical illustration of Twombly’s works.
