O’s Notes: Tamuz is the singer with composer/guitarist George Naxos leading the band. Danny Welles plays bass, Willie Applewhite plays trombone with drummer Ronen Itzik to round out the team. Applewhite has a nice solo on “Piroulita” and Nissim delivers crisp solos throughout the session consisting of eleven songs, a blend of classics and originals. The mood is pleasant and the performance is fair.
