O’s Notes: They came in rockin’ the house and it was nonstop from there! Leader Alan Evans (d), Eric Krasno (g) and Neal Evans (keyboards) know how to groove and were fueled by the energy and acceptance of the live audience. It was July 30, 2004 in New York, NY. They whip the crowd into frenzy and maintain the heat of July. Guest trombonist Robin Eubanks joined them on a nice arrangement of “If You Want Me To Stay”. Rashawn Ross, (t) and Ryan Zoidis (sax) added electric brass accents. There are two CDs packed full of head bobbing funk. These guys are definitely among the best jam bands ever.
