O’s Notes: Jowee Omicil is a Haitian now living and performing in Montreal! He plays flute, sax, Rhodes, and adds voice to a few tracks.“Love Matters“is a good collection of contemporary Latin jazz with a generous dose of Latin Calypso on “Marie Clémence” and a jovial spirit that extends through the entire session. Other highlights are “Clark” for Clark Terry, “Mozart BasH!” dedicated to Mozart, “Be Kati” featuring Michael Alibo on electric bass, “We, We, We, We” and “Putain de BasH!”
