O’s Notes: Pieces of A Dream are back with more of that jazzy, hot-buttered, Philly groove. This is a mature sound, it’s relaxed, smooth and easily enjoyable. The core, James Lloyd (keys) and Curtis Harmon (d), are joined by a strong crew including guest artists Gerald Veasley (b), Joe Vincelli (sax) and Joe McBride (v). Of note are “Enmascarda” and “Let’s Roll” both with nice work on guitar from Todd Parsnow, and their slow, sexy version of “My Funny Valentine” spotlighting vocalist Tracy Hamlin.
