O’s Notes: Ravi opens the set burning on “26-2”. It’s followed by the beats of “Ginger Bread Boy” courtesy of James Genus (b) and drummer Steve Hass. That pace continues until he relaxes the pace with a ballad, “Self Portrait In Three Colors”. There’s a nice funky arrangement of “Round Midnight” and a cool take on “Ask Me Now”. Ravi takes it up a notch on this recording with a defining signature.
