O’s Notes: R&B balladeer Perry opens with “Magic” showcasing his rich vocals on top of a cool groove. It’s an indication of what follows. Some of the best are Isley Brothers’ covers like “Groove With You” and “I Can’t Wait”, a new song written by Phil and Chris Davis. This is a nice soothing collection that is surely one of Perry’s best.
