O’s Notes: This is a hot session featuring Vincent Herring (sax), Jeremy Pelt (t), Anthony Wonsey (p), Richie Goods (b) and Rick Germanson (p). Drummer Hayes leads the Cannonball Legacy Band. The inspiration for this session comes from Adderley’s traveling bands in the early 1960s. They became a seamless unit and thrived on each other’s energy. You will feel that spirit here as well.
