O’s Notes: This is undoubtedly one of Elliot’s best releases with song after song that warrant NAC top ten status. Richards’s intensity comes through loud and clear and can easily be felt by listeners. His passionate sax makes even the simplest melodies resonate. The rest of the band provides a tight background with lots of punch. Guitarists Peter White & Dwight Sills and bassist Nate Phillips makes notable contributions. The program includes mostly originals but also a couple of well-done covers like “People Make The World Go Round”. Add this one to your buy list.
