O’s Notes: There’s a touch of Latin fire in the opener “Tonight We Love”. They switch to a smooth club beat on the title track. Ken keeps the beats simple on his keyboards and drum programming. This is the pattern for most of the set. The best is in the vocal tracks. Sheryl McCallum sings on “Waiting For Your Call” which also includes good solos from Keith Gamble (g) and Chris Herbert (sax). LeShelle Allen takes the microphone on “Last Night” over some cool beats and with the heartfelt “Lamentations”. The hip-hop hit comes with the fierce beats of “Bounce” with Asjai Crutchfield leading and Superior Patience rapping.
