O’s Notes: A lot of the Modern Answers strike a cool groove that helped us unwind from today’s problems. Ernest’s jazzy guitar melodies flow nicely on top of funky R&B and Caribbean raggae styles. Sylvia Tella adds a few earthy vocals to make this one of the year’s best contemporary jazz releases.
