O’s Notes: Accomplished songwriter and vocalist, Kathy Kosins follows up up her successful 1995 release All In A Dreams Work with Mood Swings. Most of the songs were written by Kathy in collaboration with April Lang and/or pianist Rich Roe. She shows her versatility throughout the set moving from swing to popular and blues music. Highlights are “Paradise”, a bossa nova song with fine work on harmonica from Howard Levy, the blues fusion transformation of the Hendrix’ classic, “Foxy Lady” and “Gee Baby Ain’t I Good to You” with the big band feel.
