O’s Notes: Pianist, composer and producer Luke Gillespie assembles a fine team of musicians to support him on“Moving Mists, his latest release. Luke’s delicate, solo depiction of ‘ïRound Midnight‘ is fresh! Vocalist Tierney Sutton does a fine job on ‘Beautiful Love‘. ‘This I Dig of Grew‘ honors the late Mulgrew Miller and includes guest artists Dave Stryker (g) and Wayne Wallace (tb). We truly enjoyed ‘Blues For All‘ and ‘My Funny Valentine‘ making this a fine set.
