O’s Notes: This is a rather funky pop band from Texas that includes drummer Stanton Moore, eight-string guitarist (3 bass and 5 guitar strings) Charlie Hunter and Skerik on sax. The music ventures into reggae beats on “Etienne”, a funky James Brown beat on “Bear No Hair” and relaxed space on “The Dream”. You can hear the funky elephants on “Circus” featuring Skerik. This trio packs a strong punch, beyond just jamming.
