O’s Notes: Licia is an unquestionable violin virtuoso. She makes her debut with this world jazz effort. It is a well-done soundtrack – open and inviting the scenes. Lucia establishes her classical roots on “Oblivion”, a beautiful ballad, one of many. The dynamics are pronounced on songs like “Aurora” providing drama. “Lady Grinning Soul” has definitive funky beats behind the ballad, an interesting touch. No matter how you slice it, Micarelli plays very well and will sparkle in many circles.
