O’s Notes: This is a session of mostly upbeat covers of American classics. Nelson’s treatments are fresh transformations which makes the session pop. The cover of “Don’t You Worry ‘Bout A Thing” screams as does “That’s The Way of the World”. Presented as “much more than a contemporary record”, we have to agree that these are a dozen winners.
