O’s Notes: Veteran jazz guitarist John Hart remains venerable at 64 years old. He leads a trio with bassist Bill Moring and drummer Tim Horner on New Mantra. They perform ten jazz tunes including six Hart originals. Of note are “The Blues Left”, “Stella By Starlight”, and the warm “Reflections”. Hart handles most melodies but there are ample soloing and support from the band.
