Drew Gress (b), Nasheet Waits (d) and leader Fred Hersch (p) are all first call jazz musicians. They step through a combination of standards and originals with precision and dexterity that allows the listener to engage as much as they want to or simple relax and enjoy the classy selections. It is ballads, bop and modern jazz like our favorite “Rhythm Spirit”.
