O’s Notes: Bassist Joe Policastro returns with his trio from“Screen“Sounds“featuring guitarist Dave Miller and Mikel Avery on drums. This time Joe serves up six originals to go with three covers of pop tunes. We enjoyed the fresh new songs, more on the bebop take, with each of the musicians burning hard. “Speak Slow(ly)” “This Must Be The Place” and “Oceans of Notions” are the best tracks in a set that says“Nothing Belongs Here.
