O’s Notes: Nuit Parisienne A La Havane is a duet featuring Cuban pianist Roberto Fonseca and French cellist Vincent Segal. These classically trained musicians enter the improvisational world of jazz with a sense of peace and intimacy. We enjoyed the romance of “Soul Kiss”, “Un Home Qui Dort”, as this session grew on us, especially “La Mar Quieta” and “Te Extraño”.
