O’s Notes: The sounds of bossa nova fill the air on O Nosso Amor. Actually, all of the sounds of Brazil are present including samba and more contemporary choro music. Center stage goes to flutist and leader Mark Weinstein. He adds co-producer Nilson Matta (b), Romero Lubambo (g), Guilherme Franco (perc) and drummer Paulo Braga. These are all formidable jazz musicians who contribute some of the compositions and certainly a strong performance.
