O’s Notes: Carol Duboc is a contemporary jazzy, R&B/Pop vocalist, composer, arranger and producer. She’s always surrounded herself with a wealth of talent and“Open The Curtains“is no exception. Sheila E (percussion), Mindi Abair (sax) and Patrice Rushen (keyboards) lead an all female cast of stellar musicians. 70% of the songs are new Duboc originals along with covers of three classics notably “Fever” with sultry shadowing by Abair. It is a good effort.
