O’s Notes: Charlie leads the way with his 10-hole harmonica on eleven of the most memorable classics ever made. The twelfth tune “Lover’s Key” is an original vocal duet featuring McCoy with guest artist Laney Hicks. Pianist Beggie Adair is one of the many stellar musicians in the band. The relaxed arrangements of “My Funny Valentine”, “How Insensitive” and even the bossa nova rhythms of “Meditation” all have a hint of country & western cool. It is good music.
