O’s Notes: Dave Samuels (marimba & vibes) leads the way along with Steve Khan (g) and Dave Valentine (flute), the core of CJP on their second release together. They’ve stepped up from New Horizons with Praiso. It’s mostly originals with a few fresh covers all coming together nicely with a peaceful tropical feel, both fiery and cool with lots of Ritmo (rhythm).
