O’s Notes: Lee (alto sax) is joined by Mark Turner (tenor sax), Bill Goodwin (d), Peter Bernstein (g), and Steve Gilmore (b). Together they freshen up a few standards and introduce four new Konitz compositions. We liked “How Deep is the Ocean” and “Sub-conscious Lee” best. The sax interchange between Lee and Mark makes this one to remember.
