O’s Notes: These are happy musicians making happy music. The bass beats from Matt Ryckeburch have a calypso/reggae feel while the flute and brass from Tom Short and Joseph Rapoza suggest the carnival atmosphere of New Orleans. Jim Robitaille’s guitar speaks the same language with rock fusion occasionally thrown in. John Nieman (d) and Jimi Beauregard (vocals, percussion) support each mood and provide the glue. There are 15 tunes, some festive, some funky but all having great enjoyable spirit.
