O’s Notes: John DeFrancesco is a household name in Philly on the jazz circuit. He has generated heat from the Hammond B3 for many years. He appears here with two sons John Jr. on guitar and Joey normally of the B3 but making a guest appearance of two tracks playing trumpet! They are cooking starting with a cool cover of “Papa Was A Rolling Stone”, the grooving “It’s Your Thang” and title track with Junior taking the lead. Papa shows us he still has a lot of mileage left!
