This is the relaxed 1970s jazz fusion originally released in 1975 and re-released for our pleasure in 2026. Raging sax from Earl Turbinton & Sonny Fortune, funky drums from Billy Hart, with Guilherme Franco adding percussion, Woody Shaw on trumpet, Onaje Allen Gumbs on keyboards, and vocal shadows from Suzanne Klewan and Marcus all support Buster’s vision. “Tayamisha” is our favorite of the five lengthy selections.
