O’s Notes: Trumpeter Christopher Lehman is focused on bringing you a fresh contemporary jazz vibe on these ten original selections. It is not too deep and has hooks that are easy to latch onto. Frank D’Agostino adds vocals on two selections. We liked the “Boogaloo For Dexter”, the mysterious cool “Watcha Doin'” and the final two selections. Popjazzic is a good disc for the Friday wind down.
