O’s Notes: Argelis sings in Spanish and English and plays guitar. They play mostly Latin jazz with some swinging salsa and samba. The mellow with bossa nova rhythms are accentuated by flute and sax courtesy of Gary Lewis. The rhythm section is tight with Ken Anoe (b), Milko Escalera (congas), Steve Christofferson (p) and Alan Tarinian (d). The music makes this session speak.
