O’s Notes: This is a fresh set of contemporary jazz tracks. 9 of 11 are Loeb originals. Chuck plays guitar and keyboards and brings in a variety of artists to help execute. Among his guests are Will Lee (b), Matt King (p), Tom Schumann (p) and drummers Josh Dion, Brian Dunne and Wolfgang Haffner. Songs like “Window of the Soul” and “Mr. Martino” have catchy riffs that will keep your head bobbing. Carmen Cuesta adds vocals on the Latin inspired “Lievame”. Add Loeb to the list of hot smooth jazz players to see next summer. This CD can be characterized by his opening track; it is “Good To Go”!
