O’s Notes: This recording was put together to recreate the club sounds of the Hammond B3 as it was manned by the masters of yesterday. Drummer Jesse Cahill leads the band with Dave Sikula (g), Ian Hendrickson-Smith (ts), club owner Cory Weeds (as) and Chris Gestrin (B3). They’ve got the head bobbin blues courtesy of Sikula on “Funky Mamma”. They definitely capture the spirit on this live set at The Cellar in Vancouver.
