O’s Notes: Iron City is an organ trio featuring Beau Sasser on the B3, guitarist Charlie Apicella and Alan Korzin keeping time. They open up swinging hard on a few of Charlie’s originals. It’s cool jazzy blues with a funky bottom! If you’re not feeling the groove on these tracks, you need to check you pulse to see if you are alive! They include a cover of “Walk On By” and some cool bebop as well. Iron city is a fresh band worthy of attention.
