O’s Notes: This is an exciting blend of world beats and styles led by Dutch sax player, Praful. He combines funky bass lines, a club beat, and some Indian sounds for a unique contemporary groove. Vocals from Sandhya Sanjana, Katia Moraes and Sudha add a soft touch to the grooves. It is not monotonous and is catchy, it is among the best new world jazz acts of 2005.
