O’s Notes: Trevol is a contemporary folk, jazz quartet. They are Laia Glück (gralla, voice), Léonie Martet (flabiol, tambori, voice), Bernat Garcés (keyboards, voice), and Martí Fleta (d, perc, voice). They transform traditional folk tunes with a jovial spirit. The opening selection, Castellanes I Basques” sounds like a carnival with an organ grinder. We liked “Folk & Roll” & “La Vanitosa” the warm “Ni Un Pam De Terra”, “Molontrull”, and “Quimet”.
