O’s Notes: Michael has stood the test of time showing many strong albums over several decades. This one is no exception. There’s a relaxing spirit in the air as a Brazilian samba threads through each of the tunes. “Under the Sun” with highlights on guitar from Chuck Loeb gets us started followed by the festive title track. These are followed by eight strong selections. Our favorites: “Samba de Soho”, “The Question Is Why” and “Songbirds”.
