O’s Notes: This concert was recorded live at Tipitina’s during Mardi Gras in 1989. Dr. John is a part of the fabric of New Orleans and this is a snapshot of him in rare form, feeling it. We like the classics: “Renegade”, “Black Widow”, “Don’t Let The Sun Catch You Crying” and “Kinfolks”. It’s a snap shot of a city that may never feel the same again.
